Terms of Service

We hold FAA special registration number (“N-number”) reservations in our own name and resell them. When you buy a number, we transfer our reservation to you — for most numbers by filing a signed Relinquish-and-Transfer Letter with the FAA Aircraft Registration Branch; for premium-tier numbers by assigning you the single-purpose LLC that holds the reservation.

We are an independent reseller. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Federal Aviation Administration. Government processing times and decisions are outside our control.

You must provide accurate legal name, address, and contact information for the FAA filing. The FAA records what you submit; errors you provide are your responsibility and may delay or void a transfer. You are responsible for renewing your reservation ($10/year to the FAA) after it is in your name.

Listed prices are in U.S. dollars and are firm. Payment is processed by Stripe; by paying you also agree to Stripe's terms. Your order is confirmed when payment completes. We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if a number becomes unavailable or an error is detected.

Standard FAA processing of a Relinquish-and-Transfer Letter typically takes 2–4 weeks; premium-tier LLC assignments complete without an FAA wait. These are estimates, not guarantees — the FAA controls its own timelines.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for delays or denials caused by the FAA or by information you provided.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, where Northbound Capital LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
